Board of Directors

Chad Heimbigner, President

Chad Heimbigner, President Chad and his family have attended and supported the Angel Ball Gala each year since it was started in 2007. Chad is excited to serve on the Board of Directors because of his personal connection with juvenile diabetes and his passion for supporting the organizations the Angel Ball Foundation benefits. His youngest son Nick was diagnosed with Type I diabetes when he was four years old. In addition to his involvement with the Angel Ball, Chad is the current Program Director for Camp STIX, serves on the American Diabetes Association Community Leadership Board of Directors, is part of the Planning Committee for the Morrison Family Stop Diabetes Charity Golf Classic & Auction, and enjoys his time coaching youth sports teams. Chad is a graduate of the University of Idaho and is a Senior Civil Engineer at Coffman Engineers, Inc.

Trisha McGann, Secretary and Database Director

Trisha McGann, Secretary and Database Director Trisha grew up in Spokane and attended WSU for her undergraduate degree. She then returned to Spokane to attend Whitworth University and received a Master's Degree in Education. After teaching for many years she decided to stay home to raise her children. She has three children and a wonderful husband, Todd. As an educator, Trisha has a special heart for children affected with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes and has been working with the Angel Ball Foundation since the beginning. She also sits on the Executive Planning Team.

Joe Gamon, Treasurer

Joe Gamon, Treasurer Joe grew up in Spokane and attended Western Washington University where he obtained his Bachelors degree in Accounting. After graduation, he passed the CPA exam and worked for a large regional CPA firm for several years before going to work for one of his clients as their CFO. He is a married father of four who spends as much time as possible snow skiing and water skiing. Joe has been a supporter of the Angel Ball since inception and is serving his first term on the Board.

Nicole Bailey, Treasurer Elect

Nicole Bailey, Treasurer Elect Nicole was born and raised in Spokane. After graduating from Gonzaga Prep she went onto Eastern to receive her Bachelors in Accounting. She is married with 1 daughter who was born in 2011. Nicole currently works at CliftonLarsonAllen accounting firm as an Auditor in Commercial Services. In her spare time she enjoys doing activities outdoors. She has been involved with the Angel Ball for the last few years and is bringing her talents to the board to help us with our current growth.

Chris Lewis

Chris Lewis Chris Lewis is a family nurse practitioner currently working in a rural health setting. He is also the father of a daughter who has Type 1 Diabetes, so he is keenly aware of both the medical and family sides of this disease. He is an avid runner and coaches Junior Olympics athletes.

Julie Delaney, Executive Director

Julie Delaney, Executive Director Julie, and her husband Shane, are the founders of the Angel Ball Foundation. The mission of the foundation is very close to her heart and she enjoys running the foundation and watching the great things happening! Julie has a heart for non-profit work and in addition to the Angel Ball in Dec of 2009 she took a position for, Northwest Harvest - Washington’s ONLY statewide hunger relief agency. She is the Community Engagement Manager for Eastern & Central WA and oversees community fundraising events, food drives, volunteer engagement, media and donor relations.

Chelsey Kirkpatrick, Event Decor Director

Chelsey Kirkpatrick, Event Decor Director Chelsey has been involved with the Angel Ball Foundation since the dream became a reality. As an educator her passion will always be something that will benefit children. As a mother of 2 boys, her passion will always be showing her children how to give back.

Jaime Johnson, Event Logistic Director

Jaime Johnson, Event Logistic Director Jaime is a local event planner that offer a variety of event planning and design services to businesses and individuals. Her experience stems from 10 years of coordinating large events for the Couer d' Alene Resort and the Davenport Hotel. From the traditional to the cutting edge Jaime brings her expertise and charisma to every event. She is giving her generous heart, talents, and expertise to the Angel Ball Foundation to help the foundation grow and prosper.

Shane Delaney

Shane Delaney Shane and his wife Julie are the founders of the Angel Ball Foundation. Shane was born and raised in Spokane. For the past 17 years he has been one of the area’s top Real State producers. Shane currently works for Coldwell Banker Tomlinson and has extensive knowledge of residential re-sale, land development and new construction. Career highlights for Shane include: Tomlinson Presidents club member for the past 12 years, over $300 million in real estate sold, and in the top 1% of all agents in Spokane for the past 13 years. Shane is deeply committed to Spokane and giving back to better the community.

Heather Hanley

Heather Hanley Heather Hanley is the owner of the Tin Roof Furniture, Concept Home and Reskued. She was born and raised in Spokane. Heather is extremely involved in the community and in addition to serving on the Angel Ball Board she also sits on the board of the Spokane Community Colleges Foundation.

Mark Lupton

Mark Lupton Mark has attended/supported the Angel Ball Gala beginning in the 2nd year. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Kristi, and has two amazing children. He is a Mead High School and Whitworth University graduate. He spent 3 years, after college, in public accounting while earning his CPA license and for the last 10 years has been working as a Certified Financial Planner™. Mark was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 14 and lives each day with the challenges that diabetes poses. This is his first year on the Board and is looking forward to the impact that this role will have on improving the lives of children living with Type 1 diabetes.

Becki Wheeler

Becki Wheeler Becki Wheeler was born and raised in Spokane. After graduating from Lewis and Clark HS she attended Vanguard University where she played on theirwomen’s basketball team. She returned to Spokane to attend Law School at Gonzaga University. She is now married with 2 sons and a daughter. In 2008 she joined Ryan McNeice and they have formed what is,McNeice Wheeler, PLLC. Becki joined the Angel Ball Board in 2012 and is excited to serve the community and the area families dealing with Type 1 Diabetes.

Dana Haynes

Dana Haynes Dana Haynes spent 20 years in media, first in Boise, Idaho and then 14 years in Spokane at KHQ. Now she's lending her media credentials to the Spokane Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau as their Communications Director. In her current position she's pitching stories about Spokane to media all over the country. Dana's job is to cheerlead for Spokane, the more media attention for our region, the more visitors. With more visitors comes more money spent at our local hotels, restaurants, shops and attractions... to the toon of $741 million last year in Spokane County. Dana continues her work with local charities and running her own business Dandles Candles.

Brad Moeller

Brad Moeller Brad is a Spokane native. After graduating from North Central High School, Brad earned a Communication Degree from the University of Idaho. Brad has extensive marketing experience working with national, regional and local marketing strategies. Examples of his marketing work include: PING Golf hired Brad to market golf accessories nationwide and the Spokane Regional Sports Commission and the Spokane Convention and Visitors Bureau hired Brad to market Spokane County to visitors from around the world. Brad is also currently the Designated Broker/Owner of Spokane Real Estate & Property Management. Previous to that he worked for Windermere Real Estate.
